(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

ANYWAYS...

tralala, work has been busy, so little time to post, but a lot has gone on!

1. Tried a lot of new foods and such, which can be viewed here -PandaCheese

2. Attended TIFF :D and watched a really heart warming story

From Up On Poppy Hill

Set in the year 1963, when Japan is preparing for the Olympics in Japan, Umi, a young high school student learns to grow up, and how to learn from the past and look towards the future.

Directed by Goro Miyazaki, it's a beautiful story, and a "must-watch" for all the miyazaki films.

There is also another film that I wanted to watch.. Called A Letter To Momo. A film, 7 years in the making, and a completely hand-drawn animation. It sounds like a really nice movie.

3. Limited Edition MK Scarf (for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation)

Also, I got the limited edition leopard print scarf by Michael Kors from Holt Renfrew. Thank-you for my friend Aggie for telling me about this! It's a really cute and soft scarf, I got it in brown

There was Red, Black and Brown. The Red one seemed to be the most popular, seeing as it was the first one to be sold out online. The brown was limited in stock @ Holt Renfrew, but there were still lots of the black one left when we got to HR.

4. Attended Vidi Vici event - Special appearance of Lee Kyung Min (founder of Vidi Vici)

Lastly, today I attended a Vidi Vici event with special appearance by the founder, Lee Kyung Min. We had an intro to the brand, and then Miss. Lee did some make-up demonstrations for us. She demonstrated an evening look (for banquets and special events) and also a quick day-time look for work, or just anywhere!
2 bags of free gifts (falsies, testers, and a mirror), and one bag has the stuff we bought

My mom bought her foundation (only 3 shade selections though...and we got the darkest one, the other ones were wayyyy too light)

And I got this "Dewy Skin Glow Veil SPF 15", when she did the demonstration, it really made the model's skin glow (: So hopefully it works for me! I'll be using it tomorrow... so I'll take pictures !

Hello Kitty!

Harro's All!

Tralala, long time no post! Exams just ended so I have time to post again :D
Anyways, I finally have time to be lazy, and I have been hibernating at home re-playing Pokemon Yellow (My metapod FINALLY transformed into a Butterfree) and reading Detective Conan :D currently, ch.503/786.

But besides that.. I've also been a tiny bit productive (:

First off! It was my friend's birthday celebration, so we decided to make her a cake. I really enjoy making Tiramisu, so I recommended making Tiramisu, and we all really enjoyed it! Here's a picture of the cake we made her:

And here is the recipe we used HERE I've used this recipe a few times, and it has never failed me! I recommend adding a little bit of something to your cake to make it more special. (Ie. we added walnuts to our cream to make it tastier ! You can also add pocky, peacans, strawberries etc.)

Secondly! To work off all the fat I've accumulated over the past winter hibernation at the library.. I've started POP Pilates (I'll start working out at the gym next month)! My friend actually recommended this to me, and she said it's a real workout! The woman is also super motivating, so it really pushes you to try harder. Click HERE for her youtube channel.

As recommended by my friend, I started out with the Beginners Total Body Workout- it's about 30 min for the first time since you're still getting used to it, but I'm thinking if I do this a few more times, it'll only take around 20 min.

Thirdly, ofcourse.. SHOPPING!
So I bought a pair of shoes... Hello Kitty Vans! That I've been REALLY meaning to buy, ever since I saw them in a magazine- I couldn't turn them down! This is how they look:

Aren't they so cute!! My parent's think I'm such a kid for buying them =_= they actually thought they belonged to my 12 year old sister. LOL.

But my problem is... they aren't really my style. I think they used to fit my style, but I hardly wear anything that would go with that. So I dunno if it's really worth it to keep them... but they're just one of those things that you LOVE, but you don't need. *sigh dunno what to do!

Till Next Time!

NARS Loves San Francisco!

Hello All!
Long - Time no post, and boy have I got something exciting!

Nars Loves San Francisco Make-up Kit! Only 100 Available, and sold only on narscosmetics.com. I really really want it! For those that live in San Francisco, you can head over to the Nordstrom at the San Francisco Centre and see if they still have this limited, limited, VERY LIMITED, edition makeup kit in stores! Otherwise, for those of you that live in the states, you can buy this limited edition set online here:

Single Eyeshadow: Angel Island
Eyeshadow duo: Haight Asbury
Blush: Golden Gate Bridge
Nailpolish: Almano

From What I can see, the nailpolish looks STUNNING. It's the perfect bronze, tan, pink colour!
I'm not too too excited about the eyeshadows just because I don't wear pale-er colours as often. But the blush is very... interesting? I don't use blush often as it is, and most definitely not a golden colour like that.. but it is definitely interesting!

If I can, I would love to get my hands on this kit (Maybe see if I can ship the package to my relatives in the states)! I love San Francisco, and maybe one day... I'll be able to live there!

If I do get my hands on this kit.. I will FOR SURE do swatches and maybe a quick "look".

Anyways, back to studying for stats!

Zipia !

Hello All!

So I've been meaning to do this post for a while.
My friends and I would sometimes place orders on this site: Zipia

You need a minimum order of $300 USD before you can place the order, so we always try to accumulate a bunch of people so we can buy together! (Although.. I'm pretty sure I can reach $300 easily.. but then my wallet would suffer an untimely death LOL)

I recently placed an order with my friends and here are some things I've ordered
Band Pleats Half Skirt (Favourite!!)

Cute Skirt for $21 USD, not bad, there's an underskirt so that's nice. Although I would still recommend wearing bicycle shorts underneath as its a very flowy skirt, and my sister tells me its still see through in the light. Yes, my sister stares at my butt alot LOL.

Unbalance Shirring One Piece

Cute, $6 USD. A bit see-through, even in normal light, so def wear bicycle shorts under/ black underskirt. I would wear this with a brightly coloured crop top = Cute!

big Pocket T:

$8 USD, it was originally Aggie's (roommate) but she offered to sell it to me, I couldn't turn down a white t-shirt! I love white tees :D

My take on Zipia:
I really think sometimes the stuff from Zipia is a hit/miss. You pay for what you get is what my thoughts are. Everything on the site is insanely cute! And even though it claims it as a "wholesale" site, the prices are sometimes.. not very wholesale. In my opinion, if you can get the same thing in-stores at a similar price, buy it in stores - you can try it on, and go without the S+H fees. I only buy things that I think would be cheaper than getting them here in Canada, or if I REALLY REALLY like it. (:

Also, paying for the clothes is a bit sketchy. You pay the person through paypal, through an email they provide you; I believe it's ebuiz@hotmail.com. I mean.. who uses hotmail as a professional account right?? Well anyways, if anyone has questions as to how to pay for Zipia, give me a shout and I'll reply asap!

TOPSHOP

So yesterday, I went to the Topshop pop-up preview at Queen St. W and Soho St.
Was pretty tired today, so didn't take much pictures, but here's what I managed + bought/got (:

We got there around 11:45(?), and the line was already pretty long. They let people enter in batches (VIP got to go in first ofcourse), and we were finally able to get in at around maybe 12:30.

The clothing were all very summer-like, with light tops, bright colours, and bold prints. A few accessories (really cute fedora hats!), and cute belts! Some of the pieces are EXCLUSIVE (ie. lace cape, cream lace flippy dress etc. more can be found on their FB group, which will be linked at the bottom) The set-up was super cute, with beach chairs, frozen yoghurt, and 2 DJ's spinning up some nice tracks (:

They gave out 2 different bags, I got this one:

But they also gave out another one that my friend noticed on some other guy while we were walking around Eatons (super jelly, cause i think the one he had was so much better than mine!)

Anyways, this is what I ended up getting (I liked it.. but I almost had to "force" myself to buy it since I waited in line for so long):

This also comes in an off-white colour. I got mine in a size 4, so it's a bit bigger? This was $30 + tax. This is the fit on me (please excuse lighting !) :

I didn't try it on before I bought it, cause I don't like trying on clothes and lineup was so long 0_0, luckily it fit pretty well. I'm usually around a size 2, but I like to wear looser fit clothes, so size 4 is good for me too. As you can see from the picture, the top fits alright on me, although the part near my armpit area is sorta flared out? So it doesn't fit properly there.

I would say, this was an interesting visit! The set-up was cute, the free froyo was yummy! And it was fun (: Although, the clothes didn't stand out to me as I thought it would. Overall, the visit was not disappointing, but if you can't make it to this preview, don't fret! Topshop will also be previewing at Muskoka from July 30th -Aug 1st.
